LANDS Superabrasives supplies a full range of virgin synthetic micronized diamond powders. This material is graded to severe standards, ensuring narrow size distribution, and no oversize particles. LANDS micron powders will perform well in most demanding applications.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

• LS600F is a uniform, blocky, friable micron powder without slivers and irregular shapes. This material will perform to the high standards required in industry today.
• LS600T is graded to the same strict tolerances as LS600F, but consists of blocky, tough, metal bond crystals.
• LS600X is a micron powder created by explosion-method instead of milling and crushing. Well graded, precision micron powder for extreme applications.
• LS700T  Optical Micron is a metal-bond diamond with an extremely blocky and consistently shaped crystal.
   

APPLICATIONS

LANDS synthetic powders are specifically engineered for the fine grinding, lapping and polishing of a wide range of materials.

LS600F is applicable in resin and metal bond products and for the manufacturing of pastes and slurries. The range of materials to be processed by LS600F includes the following: cemented carbides, special steels, glass, natural stone, hard metal dies, plastics and hard materials.

LS600T is specifically prepared for those operations which require a metal bond diamond. This material is used in processing diamond and PCD dies, ceramics, hard alloy, precious and semi-precious stones.

LS600X is a micron specifically produced for precision applications. Reducing roughness to nanometer/angstrom scale. Applications : Silicon, Gallium Arsenide or
Optical materials and crystals like Sapphire, Ruby, NaCl, KBr.

LS700T series is the LANDS Series of OPTICAL MICRONS, produced and engineered specifically to be used in high precision application. This line of material has a superior aspect ratio, great consistency in crystal shape and minimal oversize. The ultimate in precision lapping and grinding for optical materials, glass, fiberglass, memory chips etc.
 

SIZING

All LANDS Superabrasives micron powders are sized according to International Standards.

Other special sizes and FEPA sizes (M1 to M63) can also be supplied. Tailor-made powders to meet customer's specific requirements can be produced upon request.

LANDS optical microns, are specifically engineered for use in high precision applications. These micron powders are specially graded to have minimum undersize and zero oversize particles. These powders are supplied upon request.

AVAILABILITY

LANDS micron powders LS600F , LS600T, LS700T are available in the full range of sizes from 0 up to 100 micron. Our carefully graded powders are available from stock, handled and packed by skilled staff in order to avoid any contamination.

We supply all sizes currently used (see sizing table). The different steps listed below are usually available from stock, both in LS600F, LS600T, LS700T.

COATING

LANDS microns with standard 30% or 56% nickel base alloy coating, and 50% copper base alloy coating are available in sizes from 8 micron and larger. Coatings having higher or lower percentages by weight are available upon special request.
